Description
An article you write today should link to the one you write tomorrow. Creator Assistant Links finds, for every article, the other articles of your site that go deeper into what it discusses, and links them from the right words of the text.
- Works on every article, also the ones you wrote before installing it.
- Links are recomputed when an article is published or changed, and only for the articles it concerns.
- Links are added when the content is shown: on the site, in feeds and in the REST API. They are never saved into your content, so they can change at any time, and deactivating the plugin removes them all.
- An article that is unpublished stops receiving links at once; published again, its links come back.
- In the block editor, the automatic links are highlighted and listed in the “Automatic links” panel, where you can exclude any of them for good.
Requirements
- Creator Assistant Hub 1.2.0 or higher, with OpenAI and Qdrant configured. This plugin uses the content injection API the Hub publishes since 1.2.0: update the Hub first, because WordPress cannot express a minimum version in
Requires Plugins. With an older Hub the plugin stays idle and shows a notice. - WordPress 6.8 or higher.
- PHP 7.4 or higher.
After a group of articles is published, the plugin waits two hours without new articles before computing the links, so articles written together are linked once. To skip the wait, use “Process the queue now” in Creator Assistant Links.
Part of the Creator Assistant family
- Creator Assistant Hub connects your site to OpenAI and Qdrant (required).
- Creator Assistant Search adds AI search to your site.
- Creator Assistant Knowledge answers questions from private knowledge.
External services
This plugin uses the services configured in Creator Assistant Hub, and only after you accepted its terms there.
- OpenAI: turning this plugin on also turns on two Hub features, which are off by default. Hub’s content vectorization sends the text of your articles to OpenAI to create embeddings, and Hub’s article summaries are generated with OpenAI. To choose the links, the plugin also sends OpenAI the title, the language and the paragraphs of the article being linked, and the titles, summaries and passages of the candidate articles. Terms, privacy policy.
- Qdrant: the vectors of the text of your articles, created by Hub’s vectorization, are stored in Qdrant, and the plugin searches them to find the candidate articles. Terms, privacy policy.

FAQ
-
How much does it cost?
-
One OpenAI request per article the first time the plugin is activated. When you deactivate and activate it again, only the articles published or edited in the meantime are processed again. After that, one per article each time links need to change. An article whose paragraphs and candidates did not change is not sent again, except when you recalculate by hand (the editor’s button or “Recalculate every article” in the settings): a manual recalculation always sends the request. The vectorization of Hub (embeddings and article summaries) has a cost of its own, which is not included here.
-
My page cache shows old links
-
The plugin clears WordPress’s post cache when links change. A page cache plugin may keep the old page until it expires.
