The plugin offers an easy and convenient way to accept credit cards and all
other payment methods listed below fast and securely. The payment forms will be fully integrated in your checkout
and for credit cards there is no redirection to a payment page needed anymore. The pages are by default mobile optimized but
the look and feel can be changed according the merchants needs.

This plugin will add support for all wallee payments methods and connect the wallee servers to your WooCommerce webshop.
To use this extension, a wallee account is required. Sign up on wallee.

External Services

This plugin includes an internal script to manage device verification within the WooCommerce store environment.

The script helps ensure session consistency and transaction security.

  • Service Name: wallee Device Verification Script
  • Purpose: To track device sessions and enhance security during checkout and payment processing.
  • Data Sent:
    • Cookie Name: wc_whitelabelname_device_id
    • Data Stored in Cookie: A unique device identifier (hashed value).
    • When the Cookie is Set: The cookie is set when the checkout page is accessed and updated during payment processing.
    • Where the Data is Processed: All operations occur locally within the WooCommerce store and are not transmitted to external services.
  • Conditions for Use: The cookie is only set if the customer initiates a checkout session.

No personal data is sent to third-party services; all information remains within the WooCommerce store for internal verification purposes.

Installation

Minimum Requirements

  • PHP version 5.6 or greater
  • WordPress 4.7 up to 6.6
  • WooCommerce 3.0.0 up to 9.8.5

Automatic installation

  1. Install the plugin via Plugins -> New plugin. Search for ‘wallee’.
  2. Activate the ‘wallee’ plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Set your wallee credentials at WooCommerce -> Settings -> wallee (or use the Settings link in the Plugins overview)
  4. You’re done, the active payment methods should be visible in the checkout of your webshop.

Manual installation

  1. Unpack the downloaded package.
  2. Upload the directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  3. Activate the ‘wallee’ plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  4. Set your credentials at WooCommerce -> Settings -> wallee (or use the Settings link in the Plugins overview)
  5. You’re done, the active payment methods should be visible in the checkout of your webshop.

The plugin was easy to set up, fully integrated into WooCommerce, and supports a wide range of payment methods incl Twint!!. Best of all, the support is outstanding. they are quick, knowledgeable, and so far always available when reaching out. Before wallee, our checkout faced frequent declines and failed authorizations. Since switching, our order approval rates have noticeably improved.

We’ve been using woo‑wallee for our WooCommerce store, and I’m happy to say the quality has improved significantly over recent releases. The core plugin is now rock-solid, with frequent bugfixes and compatibility updates—just check the changelog for version 3.3.13 which includes fixes for edge cases and confirms support for PHP 8.2, WP 6.7 & WooCommerce 9.9.5  . The support team is excellent. They are responsive, eager to help, and genuinely put in the effort to resolve issues—something that didn’t used to be the case. It’s great to see how much effort they now invest in making things right. The platform itself is outstanding: it supports all major payment methods, integrates directly into the checkout flow (no redirects), and provides a smooth user experience across devices  . Finally, the pricing is very fair. For everything it handles—seamless transaction processing, advanced security, and a clean merchant interface—it’s a solid value. In summary: woo‑wallee has matured into a reliable, well-supported payment plugin that delivers excellent functionality at a fair price. Highly recommended!

Hurts our business and support is crappy

We chose this plug-in and Wallee in the hopes to have an all-in-one payment solution. Unfortunately almost 2 out of 3 payments don’t get directed to the payment provider. The customer instead just gets sent to a confirmation page and we receive a message that an order has failed. This really hurts our reputation and we had several tests done from our side: This happens when the customer wants to pay and the plug-in fails. It’s 2024 and it is simply not understandable how such a company can have such lousy support for something that should simply work!
